Villa La Vedetta is pleased to offer the chance of an escorted visit to the 13th century worldwide known Pharmacy of Santa Maria Novella.
Established by the Dominican Fathers shortly after 1221 for the monastery's use alone, the pharmacy became so celebrated that it was opened to the public in 1612.
During the 18th century, thanks to the efficacy of the many remedies used, the Pharmacy's fame spread as far as Russia, the Indies, and distant China.
Nowadays the tradition has been preserved and the procedures used to make their products are the same as those of the founding fathers

The package is valid from June the 1st till December the 31th, 2008 and includes the following benefits:
