Hotel Villa del Quar Pedemonte

The Hotel Villa del Quar, occupying an elegant patrician residence dating back to Napoleonic times, is located close to the city of Verona, immersed in the rolling Veneto hills and the Valpolicella vineyards.

The villa is located in the grounds of an extensive countryside estate, where the grapes used to produce the Villa del Quar's own Satyrus Reserve red wine are cultivated. The property consists of several buildings arranged around a large inner garden of palm, pine and fruit trees, surrounding a delightful cloverleaf shaped swimming pool.

The hotel offers hospitality in bedrooms and suites, furnished with original antique furniture in neo-classical style, and equipped with every modern comfort. Three suites situated at ground level have their own gardens.
The Swimming Pool Suite, its large windows affording vistas over the outdoor swimming pool, the park and the vineyards, is the most impressive of the hotel's guest rooms. The suite is comprised of a living room, bedroom, and two bathrooms in Green Ming marble and Lapis lazuli mosaic. Guests sleep in a fabulous king sized four-poster bed with gilded headboard originating from the Luigi XV era.

Hotel Villa del Quar's "Arquade restaurant has been awarded two Michelin stars and three "Gambero Rosso" forks for its superb cuisine, impeccable service and quite unique dining rooms.
Trésor, with a carved wooden ceiling and walls hung with antique German and Italian prints, is the more intimate of the two dining rooms, with just 6 tables. Precious touches are provided by the altar panels from an 18th century church and by the late 19th century English reproduction cabinet, which houses the restaurant's collection of spirits. The second room, Eurosia, was originally used as a small chapel. Hanging from its vaulted ceilings there is a great central chandelier in Murano crystal.

From the 16th century portico a wrought iron door of the same period leads to the wine cellar featuring vaulted ceilings and terracotta floor tiles, typical of the era in which the rooms were built. The antique central table, of monastic inspiration, provides a focus piece during the much requested wine tasting evenings held at the villa.

A book lined Tea Room, gazebo with bar, meeting room, gym, massage room and sauna, complete the facilities available to guests at the Villa del Quar.
