Antica Dimora Alla Rocca Trevi

The Antica Dimora alla Rocca, is a fascinating complex comprised of the 17th century Palazzo Valenti and Palazzo Urighi, and the Medieval Borghetto del Mostaccio, situated in the historic center of the charming medieval hillside town of Trevi.

The impressive building, with stylishly simple facace, is of a great importance to the townscape of Trevi and dominates the central Piazza della Rocca. The classical interiors are typical of the architecture of the 17th century. Smooth pillars supporting rib vaulted ceilings characterise the internal spaces. On the ground floor a vaulted corridor terminates in stairs leading to the upper floors Elliptical caps cover the landings.

The noble floor is divided in simply furnished rooms with beautiful, painted beam ceilings. A number of rooms contain late 18th century paintings and 19th century ceiling frescoes representing images from ancient mythology and floral patterns, typical of the period.

Rooms and suites, each with stunningly beautiful frescoed ceilings, are situated in Palazzo Valenti & Palazzo Urighi. An additional bedrooms and two-roomed flats are located in the Borghetto del Mostaccio. Classic comfort and superior rooms are almost all located on the second floor of the building, and offer enchantingly panoramic views. Deluxe rooms and suites are located on the noble 1st floor. These spacious rooms feature frescoed ceilings from the 17th century and have marble bathrooms with luxurious hydromassage bathtubs.

The Antica dimora alla Rocca's "Prepositura" Restaurant offers guests an exclusive dining venue where to savor the finest local and Mediterranean cuisine accompanied by wines from the hotel's well stocked wine cellar. A delightful panoramic garden has been created in the grounds of Palazzo Urighi, complete with swimming pool and solarium.

The Antica Dimora alla Rocca has a number of intimate, well equipped function rooms where to host business meetings, seminars and corporate events for up to 60 people and with a total seating capacity for 240. Additional meeting room space for up to 200 people is available in the nearby Museum of San Francesco and Teatro Clitunno.
